6 Powerful ChatGPT Prompts To Assess And Amplify

More and more, your online presence matters. If you’re spending any time creating content, optimizing your profiles and engaging with people in your target audience, you want to make sure your energy is heading in the right direction. But how do you know? Could you say for sure why people follow you or what they think of your posts?

Use these simple prompts in ChatGPT for an assessment of how your personal brand is coming across online. Ensure it’s congruent with your goals, actions and company values, and make the necessary changes that will set you on a new course.

How to use ChatGPT to assess and improve your online presence

Run a profile analysis

To get an accurate reading you’ll need to open up the profiles where you are active and paste the bio information from them into ChatGPT. Here’s the first prompt.

“Act as a personal brand consultant. Assess the following social media bios and content and tell me: (1) What kind of person does this represent? (2) How credible is this person? (3) Define the audience you think their profiles are focused on serving. [Include your social media bios, for example Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook].”

Conduct a content deep dive

Read the assessment then add a second prompt. “Now, assess this person’s content and explain: (1) How are they adding value to their audience? (2) How trustworthy is this person? Here is the content to assess: [Include your last 10 tweets, LinkedIn posts, blog articles, and so on, as appropriate].”

Once you have the reports, see if you agree. Probe with extra questions if you’d like to know more, and add further content examples with this additional prompt: “Here are some new examples of content, please give more detail to the analysis [include examples].”

Share your personal brand goals

Now ChatGPT knows where you are at this moment, tell it where you want to go in the future. Explain why you’re showing up online in the first place and what you’re looking to achieve. Use this prompt so it knows the game plan.

“The examples I gave you were from my social media and online presence. My goal on social media is to [your goal, for example direct people to your website to book a call for your service, or anything else relevant]. My target audience is [describe target audience]. Given this goal, how well does my online presence match up? How well does my content resonate with my target audience? Give clear reasons why it does and doesn’t and explain your reasoning.”

There’s no hiding from the response. Objectively and transparently, ChatGPT will let you know where you might be confusing your audience. Take note of the appraisal to use going forward.

Give examples

Next is where you ask ChatGPT to look at other online personalities, from your niche or people you admire, whose content and results you want to emulate. Visit their most active profile, select the text, and copy and paste in anything relevant, along with this prompt. (If you’re using ChatGPT+, there might be plugins that can do this for you.)

“I’m going to include bio and posts from [their name] who is also in my niche of [your industry] and shares a target audience. I believe they are effective in using their personal brand to [your goal]. Can you analyze their presence and give five suggestions for ways I could incorporate their approach into what I do?”

Learn from the best in your class and apply their methods to your own stuff. ChatGPT will find things that you could try, to steer your personal brand closer to your goals and audience.

Make improvements

ChatGPT knows who you are, what you’re doing, where you want to get to and who you want to emulate. It’s time to get specific pointers that you can use to change your approach. Ask for them with this exact prompt.

“Considering my goals and target audience, suggest 5 ways I could improve my bios and social media content to perform better and get better results. Be specific and give the reasons why I should make a specific change.”

Not only can you ask for pointers, you can ask for rewrites. Using this prompt, paste in your old information and ask for some new copy. “The following is my [Twitter bio, LinkedIn summary, LinkedIn headline, personal blog tagline, etc]. Use the information above to rewrite this text to make it more in line with my goals and appealing to my target audience. It should be no more than [character or word limit].”

Supercharge your online presence with ChatGPT

Gone are the days when you needed a scheduled consultation with a brand consultant to make any progress. Now, ChatGPT serves as your on-demand expert in language, the cornerstone of your online presence, with these six powerful prompts.

Start by receiving a personalized analysis tailored to your goals, target audience, and aspirational figures. Use ChatGPT’s insights to refine your strategy, or if you’re feeling audacious, request complete rewrites. With this level of expertise at your fingertips, there’s no excuse not to elevate your personal brand.
